Best Of - January Week 02/03

We're backlogging a bit and merging week 2/3 to share a few extra links this week.
I-D Vice put out a feature piece on newer art spaces in Chinatown / NY. While this went less into social effects of these spaces in the neighborhood, this helps reflect on what is happening in the Bay Area and SF, and consider perspectives of new art venues, businesses, and the places they are moving into.

SF Chronicle details the efforts of Black Salt Collective's projects and exhibitions featuring women of color, including their Visions Into Infinite Archives show at SOMArts on view now. The exhibition is Black Salt Collective will be screening films on 1/30 and having a closing reception on 2/4.

SF MOMA released an artist interview from photographer John Divola and his work in abandon houses.

Nowness presents a 2014 film by Porfirio Munoz following artist Julian Schnabel. In the film we see Schnabel working on paintings and talking about his process.
