10/14: Art Night SF at the UN Plaza. The series of art centric events is a collaboration between local artists, makers, museums, arts nonprofits, city agencies and independent artists, vendors, educators and anyone with the collective aim of publicly championing the arts in San Francisco.

10/22: The Book Was Better Film Festival by Book/Shop (Oakland), Film Screenings. More Info soon.

10/22: The BayviewLIVE Festival. BayviewLIVE, a festival created to address the digital divide by leveraging resources to support tech education for neighborhood youth will welcome Grammy Award nominated artist, Jidenna, a large scale mural lead by artist Cameron Moberg and youth artists from the Mural Music & Arts Project.

10/23: Passport 2016: Chinatown. The San Francisco Arts Commission Galleries (SFAC Galleries) is hosting its signature event, Passport, on Sunday, October 23, 2016. This unique event puts the art collecting experience in the hands of the general public. By bringing local artists into neighborhood venues, Passport attendees can “create” their own limited-edition artist’s book by collecting original, artist-designed stamps in a customized “passport” notebook. Walking throughout Chinatown, hundreds of do-it-yourself art collectors will follow a designated route to collect stamps from hot Bay Area artists while discovering the small businesses that line one of the Mayor’s Invest in Neighborhoods corridors.
Seventeen emerging and established artists will be participating this year including: Kayan Cheung-Miaw,Richard Colman, Dragon School, Ala Ebtekar, Adam Feibelman, Mik Gaspay, Tanja Geis, Cathy Lu, Terry Luk, Monica Lundy, Mads Lynnerup,Golbanou Moghaddas, Ramekon O'Arwisters,  Johanna Poethig, Xiaoxiao Zeng, Julia Goodman, and a stamp by Hung Liu.  
Tickets + $25.
