Best Of - January Week 01

During this first week of the year we're getting over the coziness of the holidays and looking ahead at current projects, events, and exhibitions.

SFMOMA previews the Artbites panel discussion of the Non-Gallery Spaces of the New SFMOMA and being conscious of museum fatigue. This panel discussion will be moderated by Joseph Becker, SFMOMA’s associate curator of architecture and design at this year's FOG art and design fair at Fort Mason on Friday Jan. 15.

The Guardian covers details and more of London's Saatchi Gallery's first all female exhibition, Champagne Life, opening Jan. 13. Exhibiting artist Stephanie Quayle said, “It’s about pulling together of artists from all over the world and showing how we’re all working so differently and doing what it is that makes us want to get into the studio every day.”

Art Practical featured Little Paper Planes's Studio Sessions video series release of LPP's conversation with Bay Area artist Amy Ho, delving into her collaborative project with San Quentin inmates to create spaces from memory and story telling.
